Breakthrough in France
The operator-franchisee concept has won over the French. Following their participation in a Paris franchise fair three years ago, businesspeople approached Gaétan Migneault and Julie Bergevin to expand Groupe Adèle in France. The French government recognized the company’s potential—it was inducted into the Franchise Hall of Fame on January 21—and helped ease its way through the country’s administrative maze.
In collaboration with French partners, Groupe Adèle created a “Master Franchise” program. “We believe we’ll be able to open 10 to 15 franchises as early as next March,” the two owners declared enthusiastically.
